Plymouth Marjon University trades as the University of St Mark and St John, based on a single campus in Derriford, Plymouth.
Its two founding colleges opened in London to train teachers: St John's College in Battersea in 1840 and St Mark's College in Chelsea in 1841. They amalgamated in 1923 to form Marjon, moved to Plymouth in 1973, and gained university title in 2013.
