Admission Requirements: The Counselling (MEd) programme page publishes only the application window (opens September 22, 2026; closes December 4, 2026) and directs applicants to Acadia's general graduate admission requirements rather than stating its own. Those require an Honours degree or a four-year bachelor's degree from an approved university, and for Master of Education programmes specifically at least a B average (73-76%) in the final two years of full-time-equivalent (60 credit-hour) undergraduate study; admission is competitive and meeting the minimum does not guarantee a seat. Applicants whose first language is not English must present IELTS 6.5 overall with no band below 6.0, or TOEFL iBT 90 with no subtest below 20 for exams before January 21, 2026, or TOEFL 4.5 overall with no score below 4.5 for exams on or after that date, PTE Academic 61, CAEL 70, or equivalent.
