Master of Arts Education (Counselling Psychology)

Admission Requirements: Candidates require an honours bachelor's degree in education, or the equivalent, with a minimum overall undergraduate average of 70% (B); for the Counselling Psychology concentration, an undergraduate degree in education, psychology, or the equivalent is required, together with a minimum of five university courses (15 units) in the social sciences, at least three of which (9 units) must be advanced (second-year or higher) psychology courses, including one course in personality theories. All candidates must understand and speak fluently the language of instruction, either English or French. For English-medium admission, the Faculty of Education accepts TOEFL (600 paper-based or 100 internet-based), CAEL (70 overall and in each component) or IELTS (7 overall, with 7 in three individual tests and 6 in the fourth).
