Overview Pursue a career in the evolving world of web software application creation. The two-year Web Development and Internet Applications Ontario College Diploma program prepares you to pursue a variety of different careers in the internet applications and web development industry. This program is designed to teach you: internet technologies full stack Web development the analysis, design and implementation of internet applications During the program, you study a number of topics relevant to the field. You learn full stack web development, database programming and internetworking in a TCP/IP environment. Additional topics include: client-side and server-side scripting programming languages systems and network security In your last semester, you apply what you have learned throughout the program as a member of a team working on a multi-tiered internet application. Requirements
Admission Requirements: Direct entry requires an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, or Mature Student status for applicants 19 or older without a high school diploma, assessed through academic testing where required. Program Eligibility asks for Grade 12 English (ENG4C or equivalent) and mathematics at Grade 12 MCT4C, Grade 11 MCR3U, Grade 12 MAP4C with 80% or higher, or Grade 11 MCF3M with 70% or higher. Algonquin notes applicants should have basic computer skills and an aptitude for programming, often shown by skill and enjoyment solving word problems in math; where applications exceed places, selection is made on English and mathematics proficiency. The English-proficiency requirement is IELTS Academic overall band 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each band, TOEFL iBT overall 4 with a minimum of 4 in each component for tests taken from 21 January 2026, or Duolingo English Test overall 110 with a minimum of 110 in Literacy and no component below 95.

International applicants apply directly via Algonquin's own International Application Portal, not ontariocolleges.ca; instead of one fixed date the college posts a program-by-program closing-date list shortly before each term starts - for Fall 2026 most programs closed 16 September 2026, technology programs by 9-10 September; no Winter 2027 or Fall 2027 international list has been posted yet, so admission remains effectively rolling until each list is published and fills. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
