Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Honours) Pathway for Registered Practical Nurses is an accelerated degree completion program for RPNs, delivered full-time on campus over three years and four months rather than the standard four years. The program prepares graduates to provide high-quality nursing care and take on leadership roles within the health care system, teaching in classrooms, laboratories, and clinical settings across diverse healthcare environments. The curriculum integrates multiple ways of knowing, including Indigenous knowledge systems, evidence-informed practice, and intra- and interprofessional collaboration. The pathway is intended for practising RPNs who already hold a College of Nurses of Ontario licence and are building on their college diploma and recent clinical experience rather than starting a nursing degree from a general entry point. Graduates become eligible to write the NCLEX licensing exam and the College of Nurses of Ontario jurisprudence exam to register as a Registered Nurse.
