PGCert in Leadership Certification

The Leadership Certification is a graduate-level certificate offered by Briercrest Seminary that pairs an external professional leadership certification with Briercrest coursework built to graduate standards. Students complete four courses totalling 15 credit hours, typically finished within one year of full-time study. Coursework includes two shared core courses, Wise Leadership and Management and System Complexity and Change, plus a leadership specialization course completed alongside an external certification chosen from areas such as board governance, coaching, design thinking, sport coaching, and leading emerging or women leaders. Remaining course requirements vary by the specialization selected. The program is intended for students who are pursuing or have completed an external leadership certification and want it recognized within a graduate academic framework. Applicants aged 28 or older without an undergraduate degree may qualify for admission as mature students. The certificate is administered through Briercrest Seminary, located in Caronport, Saskatchewan.
