Certificate in Business

The Certificate in Business is a 24-27 credit-hour, one-year credential for students seeking administrative and career-development training grounded in biblical and theological study. The curriculum has three components: a 6 credit-hour College Core in biblical and theological studies; a 15 credit-hour Business Core covering organizational behaviour, an introduction to business, computing and mathematics, plus a course in marketing or research design; and a 3 credit-hour Business Elective chosen from accounting, communication, law, digital technology or economics. Classes are small and discussion-based, combining liberal-arts and professional training within a Christian core curriculum. Students also take part in experiential learning through internships and service-learning opportunities. The certificate provides a foundational, one-year introduction to business administration for students planning to enter the workforce or continue into further business study.
