Overview
The Business Management Advanced Diploma is designed to equip you with fundamental business knowledge to complement expertise and education in other disciplines. This program will introduce you to foundational business functions including: accounting, economics, marketing, human resource management, and operations. Upon graduation, you'll be prepared to lead and contribute to a broad range of core business areas, as well as leverage prior knowledge and expertise to launch into entrepreneurial pursuits.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: Entry requires a diploma or degree from a recognized post-secondary institution, or admission through one of BCIT's alternate-entry routes for first responders, Canadian Armed Forces members, or mature students with a mixed education and work history, assessed via an Experience-Based Placement Assessment Request. English language proficiency follows BCIT's Category 2 standard: English Studies 12 at 67% or equivalent. Applicants whose credentials were earned outside Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia or New Zealand must have them assessed by the International Credential Evaluation Service (ICES) before their application can be evaluated. No portfolio, interview or minimum GPA is stated for this diploma.

Openings are 9:00 am and deadlines 11:59 pm Pacific Time, moving to the next business day on a weekend. Admission is not institute-wide rolling, but many programs work first-qualified-first-accepted and can fill before the posted deadline, and several programs, mostly in Health Sciences, trades and graduate studies, run entirely separate application tables of their own.
