Overview
The Cybersecurity & Network Technology Diploma will give you the skills to maintain computer and networks systems, and the ability to design and configure these systems and optimise them to protect them from attack. You will have the skills to assess and deploy Cloud based solutions in a secure manner and monitor, assess, and respond appropriately to security events on any of the network systems. You may take an optional co-op or internship to gain work experience as part of the program. As a graduate, you may work at an entry level in the network management, computer maintenance, or industrial or consumer repair fields.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: One English course at C from: English 12, ENGL 092, ENGL 103, ENGL 130, ENGL 142, ELD 092, ELD 097 or ELD 103. And one mathematics course at C from: Math 11, Applications of Math 12, MATH 072, MATH 073, MATH 075, MATH 077 or MATH 139. Alternatively, completing the Computer and Engineering Technician Access certificate satisfies entry — a route worth knowing if you are short of the secondary-school prerequisites. INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS must clear Camosun's general college English standard on top of anything listed here — IELTS Academic 6.0 with no sub-score under 6.0, TOEFL iBT 78 with no sub-score under 19, PTE Academic 54 with no sub-score under 50, Cambridge C1 Advanced 174 with no sub-score under 169, or CAEL CE 60 with no component under 60, taken within the past two years — because the college states that its general standard applies even where a programme page shows a lower one.

Start Date:One start a year, in September (Fall term). Limited (seated) enrolment: the cohort is capped and a waitlist is normally opened once qualified applicants outnumber seats.
Application Deadline:Limited-enrolment (seated) programme: Camosun publishes an opening date but no closing date, and applications can be shut at any point once the waitlist outgrows the seats on offer.
