Overview
This is the in-school technical training component of the harmonized Sheet Metal Worker apprenticeship, delivered at Camosun's Interurban campus for sponsored apprentices registered with SkilledTradesBC. Training is organized into four levels of eight weeks each, taken about once a year between periods of paid, employer-supervised on-the-job work that makes up around 80 percent of an apprentice's time. Each level ends with a SkilledTradesBC exam, and completing all four levels qualifies the apprentice for Red Seal certification as a Sheet Metal Worker.
