Social Sciences, World Pathway is a pre-university Diploma of College Studies (DEC, 300.MO) offered at Cegep de Sainte-Foy over two years across four or five sessions, with intake in both the fall and winter terms. The program examines global issues and international relations through anthropology, geography, political science, economics and history, analysing relations between states, peoples and territories. Coursework builds toward an integrative activity that includes a research component and a week-long study visit to London, giving students direct exposure to the international issues studied in class. The pathway suits students interested in world affairs, international relations, and global social and political issues, and who are considering further university study in political science, international relations, geography, history or related social-science fields. The diploma gives access to a wide range of university humanities and social-science programs, building on the broad multidisciplinary foundation developed across the two-year program.
