Diploma in Human Sciences (Management and Management Plus profile)

Human Sciences (Management and Management Plus profile) is a two-year pre-university Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC) at Cegep de Sept-Iles, offered as program codes 300.A4 (Management) and 300.A2 (Management Plus). The program develops students' understanding of decision-making in human resource, material and financial management, and covers core human-science disciplines through their principal facts, concepts, theories, models and approaches. Coursework addresses current societal and citizenship issues, builds research methods specific to the human sciences, and develops scientific reasoning, intellectual curiosity and critical thinking alongside clear written and oral communication. The Management Plus profile adds a mathematics-focused course load for students aiming at more quantitative university programs. Graduates are prepared for university studies in fields such as accounting, finance, business administration, management, marketing, economics and industrial relations. The program offers an optional international cooperation trip and the option to take general or specific-education courses in English.
