Overview
This AEC programme is designed for adults already working in community mobilization and local development, building their strategic and practical toolkit for community accompaniment work. The curriculum covers concepts, strategies, and tools for engaging and mobilizing local communities, with content updated to reflect current innovations and approaches in the field. The programme totals 300 hours spread across five consecutive courses over 18 months, delivered in a hybrid format that is almost entirely synchronous online, supplemented by a small number of in-person weekend sessions in Victoriaville. Graduates receive an Attestation d'études collégiales (AEC) and are equipped to lead and support community development initiatives, engage stakeholders, and apply contemporary mobilization strategies within local and regional organizations.
