Overview
Human Sciences – Social Intervention (Sciences humaines, profil Intervention sociale) is a pre-university Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC) at Cégep de Victoriaville, completed over four sessions (two years). Admission Requirements: Admission to Sciences humaines - Intervention sociale requires Mathématiques CST de la 4e secondaire (Mathematics CST, Secondary 4), plus the Cégep's general admission conditions. Those general conditions require a Diplôme d'études secondaires (DES) from the youth or adult sector, or a vocational diploma (DEP) supplemented by fifth-secondary language of instruction, fifth-secondary second language and fourth-secondary mathematics; levelling courses may be required for older diplomas, and applicants short by up to six units toward their DES can be admitted conditionally if they complete them in their first semester. Instruction is in French and the general admission page does not set a separate English-language score. The program page states no portfolio, interview, or other special condition beyond this single mathematics prerequisite.

Application Deadline:Domestic applicants apply through SRACQ (sracq.qc.ca): for the Fall 2027 (August) intake three admission rounds close 1 March, 1 May and 1 June 2027, and for Winter 2027 (January) entry rounds close 1 November, 1 December 2026 and 2 January 2027, each later round admitting only while seats remain. The Cegep does not publish a fixed international application deadline; international applicants follow a separate admission process and must hold a valid CAQ and study permit by the start of August for Fall entry, so early application is recommended. Admission is otherwise processed on a rolling basis as documents are received. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
