Overview
Occupational Health and Safety Management is an Ontario College Graduate Certificate that prepares graduates for entry-level supervisory roles in the field of occupational health and safety (OHS). The program is approved by the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (BCRSP) as meeting their formal education requirement to earn the Canadian Registered Safety Technician (CRST®). The program will appeal to domestic and international students interested in a full-time, blended delivery program that combines theory and practice, culminating with work-integrated learning. Graduates will be prepared for employment in all occupational environments, from manufacturing and healthcare to transportation and agriculture, as in-house professionals or as consultants.

Admission Requirements: This postgraduate certificate admits applicants holding an Ontario College Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or degree in any discipline, or the equivalent. English proficiency can be shown through prior education completed in English, recognized English upgrading, or a recognized English proficiency test; the programme page defers specific scores to Centennial's general language-proficiency page, whose Degree Programs & Graduate Certificates scale applies: IELTS Academic 6.5 with no band under 6.0, TOEFL iBT 81 with Reading at least 19 and Writing at least 23, PTE Academic 60 or higher, or Duolingo 125 or higher. No portfolio, interview, or minimum admission GPA is published; a 2.0 cumulative GPA is required for graduation, not admission.

Application Deadline:Centennial publishes no application deadline for this program; what follows is the Ontario college cycle that governs it. DOMESTIC applicants apply through ontariocolleges.ca: for a program starting in Fall 2027 the equal-consideration date is 1 February 2027, and applications arriving after it are still assessed, but first-come first-served while places remain. Across the Ontario college system the application opened on 26 September 2026, offers may be issued from 1 November 2026, and an offer must be accepted by 1 May 2027. One $150 fee covers up to five program choices. INTERNATIONAL applicants apply instead through Centennial's ApplyCentennial portal, for which the College publishes no fixed cut-off; it advises applying four to six months before the intended start so there is time for processing and a study permit, and charges a non-refundable $125 CAD application fee.
