Access to Practical Nursing Diploma

Admission Requirements: BC Grade 12 or equivalent, Foundations of Math 11 or equivalent at 60%+, Biology 12 or equivalent at 60%+, Human Anatomy and Physiology for Practical Nurses (HLPR 103) or equivalent at 65%+, English Studies 12 or equivalent at 65%+, a Health Care Assistant/Resident Care Attendant/combined HS-RCA certificate, and a minimum 600 hours of health-care-assistant work experience in the last two years in a hospital or residential-care setting. Before practice education: CPR Level C, First Aid within 12 months, a criminal record check for vulnerable populations, and current immunizations plus a negative TB test. Non-native English speakers need IELTS overall band 7.0, CELBAN, or three years of full-time secondary/post-secondary education in English.
