This three-year diploma programme prepares students to enter one of CCNB's skilled-trades diploma programmes by building the academic and workplace skills required for admission and success. Courses cover reading, writing, numeracy, digital literacy, English as a second language, intercultural communication, job-search strategies, and expectations of the Canadian workplace. Students also complete introductory modules across trades sectors, including construction, energy, motorized mechanics, industrial trades, and metalworking, before choosing a specialization for their remaining years of study. Instruction is delivered in person at the Bathurst, Dieppe, and Edmundston campuses with a September start. The programme leads to a Collège communautaire du Nouveau-Brunswick diploma in Techniques multidisciplinaires en métiers, after which graduates can progress into a related trades diploma programme at the college.
