This Double DEC combines the Avec mathématiques profile of the pre-university Sciences humaines program with the Littérature profile of the pre-university Arts, lettres et communication program at Collège Montmorency, letting students earn both diplomas in three years. The Sciences humaines side keeps the usual social-science subjects — psychology, economics, history and related disciplines — but adds extra mathematics coursework, useful for university programs needing stronger quantitative preparation. The Littérature side centres on reading and analyzing literary works, creative and critical writing, and language and cultural studies, preparing students for university programs in literature, languages or the humanities.
