An advanced-standing pathway into Conestoga's four-year Bachelor of Computer Science (Honours) for graduates of the college's Computer Programming diploma or Computer Programming and Analysis advanced diploma - both feeder pages list the honours BCS as a next-step degree. Rather than starting over, admitted graduates continue at the Waterloo campus in a hybrid program emphasizing software quality, reliability and security, testing methodologies and software project management, with two paid co-op work terms and the option to major in areas such as Big Data Analysis, Cybersecurity and Cloud Computing.

Admission Requirements: This is Conestoga's advanced-standing pathway into the Bachelor of Computer Science (Honours) for graduates of the Computer Programming and Computer Programming and Analysis (CP&CPA) diploma; the program page does not publish separate pathway-specific grades, so entry follows the degree's published admission basis. Direct-entry candidates need an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or equivalent, or age 19 or older by the start date, plus English (ENG4U), or Preparatory Communications for Degrees, any Grade 12 U Mathematics or Conestoga's Preparatory Mathematics for Degrees (MATH0150), and four further Grade 12 U or M courses, at a minimum cumulative average of 65% across the six; the minimum stated for consideration is 65%, and Conestoga notes higher averages are often required where the program is competitive. Applicants whose prior instruction was not in English must meet Conestoga's institution-wide degree-program English requirement: IELTS Academic 6.5 overall (no band under 6.0), TOEFL iBT 88 (no skill under 22), PTE Academic 58, CAEL 70 (no sub-test under 60), or Duolingo 120. Non-Canadian transcripts require a course-by-course credential evaluation through ICAS or WES.
