Overview

In the part-time Project Management Graduate Certificate program, you will learn how to manage simple and complex projects from start to finish and become a critical part of an organization's most exciting achievements. Develop the skills you need to oversee project management activities such as planning, managing scope, costs, and time while balancing client expectations. Learn organizational Agility with practices such as Scrum. Establish goals for your project team and lead them to overcome obstacles to achieve success, meeting stakeholders needs.Earn project management education hours towards a variety of certifications: Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)®, Project Management Professional (PMP)®, Agile Scrum Master (ASM)®, Risk Management Professional (RMP)®, or Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP)® designations.

Requirements

Admission Requirements: Entry requires a two- or three-year diploma or degree from an accredited college or university; applicants with five or more years of experience in the project management field but no post-secondary credential will also be considered. International transcripts require a course-by-course credential evaluation through a provider such as ICAS or WES. Because this is an Ontario College Graduate Certificate, applicants whose prior instruction was not in English must meet Conestoga's higher exception-tier English requirement: IELTS Academic overall 6.5 (no band below 6.0), TOEFL iBT 88 (no skill below 22), PTE Academic 58, CAEL 70 (no sub-score below 60), or Duolingo 120. Admission to the program is required prior to registering for its individual part-time courses, and applicants apply through ontariocolleges.ca.

Application Details

Application Deadline: Domestic applicants apply through ontariocolleges.ca (college code CONS): for the Fall 2027 intake the online application opens 26 September 2026, the equal consideration date is 1 February 2027, offers may be issued from 1 November 2026, and accepted offers must be confirmed by 1 May 2027; most oversubscribed programs stop accepting applications after 1 February 2027, though many programs remain open afterward. Conestoga does not publish a separate equal-consideration date for its January intake. International applicants apply directly to Conestoga and are assessed on a rolling, first-come, first-served basis until each program fills; no fixed international closing date is published. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
