PGCert in Strategic Marketing Communications

Strategic Marketing Communications is a two-year Ontario Graduate Certificate at Conestoga College's Kitchener-Doon campus, delivered full-time. The program teaches integrated communication across marketing, advertising, public relations, and sales disciplines, with emphasis on strategic planning and the production of professional collateral and digital content using industry-standard technology. Students develop competencies in managing organizational messaging across traditional and social media platforms, both offline and online. Learning culminates in a client-based capstone project in which students develop an integrated marketing communications plan for a real organization. Coursework combines marketing theory with applied production skills, giving students experience creating campaigns, content, and communication strategies used by marketing and communications teams. Graduates are prepared for roles in marketing communications, public relations, advertising, and digital content creation, applying integrated communication planning skills across corporate, agency, and non-profit settings.
