Requirements

Admission Requirements: Admission requires an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (or equivalent), including Grade 12 English at the College or University (C/U) level, or an equivalent Mature Student Assessment, GED, or Academic and Career Entrance (ACE) credit. International applicants need an equivalent high-school/senior-secondary diploma with notarized, translated transcripts, and must meet the program's English Language Proficiency requirement of Academic IELTS overall 6.0 with no band below 5.5. Applicants who do not meet the entrance requirements are encouraged to first complete the Pre-Technology-Trades program to build the necessary preparation before reapplying. The program runs full-time with a Fall (September) intake.

Application Deadline: Domestic applicants apply through ontariocolleges.ca: for Fall 2027 entry the application opened 26 September 2026 and the province-wide equal-consideration date is 1 February 2027; Confederation also publishes its own equal-consideration dates of 1 March for Winter-entry programmes and 1 April for Spring-entry programmes. After these dates, files are assessed on a rolling, first-come basis while seats remain, and the college flags Aviation, Health, Engineering Technology and Community Services programmes as filling quickly. International applicants apply via international.ocas.ca; intakes close roughly six weeks before each semester starts and a programme can close earlier once seats fill, so no fixed international closing date is published. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
