The Health Sciences (Post Diploma) program is a degree-completion pathway for graduates of Canadian-accredited two-year diploma programs in diagnostic medical sonography, medical laboratory technology, nuclear medicine, paramedicine, radiological technology, or respiratory therapy. Offered by Dalhousie University's School of Health Sciences, the program is delivered entirely online through the Brightspace learning platform, allowing working clinicians to study full-time or part-time. Full-time completion takes two years, covering 60 credit hours across 20 courses. Coursework builds on students' existing clinical diploma training with study in health sciences leadership, research methods, and professional practice, preparing graduates for expanded clinical, administrative, and leadership roles in their health profession. Admission requires a completed accredited diploma, a passed Canadian licensing or certification exam, at least two years of professional work experience, and active, good-standing membership in the relevant Canadian professional association. Graduates receive a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree.
