This program was created by DC and Ontario Tech for individuals who plan to take Ontario Tech’s Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree program. The bridging courses required for admission to the degree program are embedded in the curriculum, and if you achieve a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 in each semester of your DC courses and no grade below C in your Ontario Tech course, you may apply directly to the third year of the degree program. This opportunity allows qualified candidates to major in Organizational Behaviour and Human Resources Management at Ontario Tech. To participate in the human resources program, you are required to maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 and complete an application to Ontario Tech in the first semester. The Ontario Tech-embedded courses are flexible and subject to change by Ontario Tech. Academic planning assistance will be offered to you by a student advisor representative.

Admission Requirements: Domestic entry runs through Ontario's college application system: the minimum is an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or an equivalent Grade 12 diploma from another Canadian province, or Mature Student Status for applicants 19 or older who have not finished high school. This diploma-to-degree transfer pathway carries the same diploma-year prerequisites as the base program: Grade 12 English at the C or U level and Grade 11 mathematics at the C, M or U level. Applicants without a Canadian credential may instead demonstrate English proficiency to Durham College's institution-wide standard for certificate, diploma and graduate-certificate programs: IELTS Academic 6.0 overall with no band below 5.5, TOEFL iBT 88 overall with no section below 22, PTE Academic 53 overall with no section below 49, CAEL 60 with no section below 60, or Duolingo English Test 110 or higher. The transfer into Ontario Tech University's Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) itself is subject to Ontario Tech's own separate admission average, which this program's own page does not state.
