Overview

This Diploma of Graduate Studies (DESS) in Automated Manufacturing Engineering, focused on systems integration and automation, is a 30-credit second-cycle program at ÉTS Montréal for engineers and professionals seeking advanced knowledge in the field. Three pathways are available: two mandatory workshops plus four or five specialized courses and a 15-credit project; two workshops plus seven or eight courses and a six-credit technical project; or nine to ten courses. Admission Requirements: Admission requires a bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in electrical, mechanical, or automated production engineering, or a related field, with a minimum cumulative average of 3.0/4.3; candidates averaging 2.8-3.0 are reviewed individually. Alternatively, candidates may qualify through relevant knowledge, appropriate training, and pertinent professional experience. Sufficient knowledge of French is required per ÉTS's language policy, and English reading ability is strongly recommended given course materials.
