Offered by École de Technologie Supérieure in Montréal, Canada, BA/BS in Aerospace Engineering is a bachelor's degree in Aerospace & Automotive Engineering programme. The programme runs for 4 years, delivered on campus. Tuition for international students is CAD 165,100 per total (CAD 20,400 per total for local students).
This Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) is a first-cycle program in aerospace engineering, delivered full-time in French at ÉTS Montréal. The curriculum combines academic coursework with three mandatory, paid co-op work terms of four months each, integrated across the course of study rather than offered as a single optional placement. Admission is Fall only (August 1 deadline), and the program carries no enrollment cap. Entry is aimed at holders of a Quebec college diploma (DEC) or an equivalent post-secondary qualification. Because the co-op terms are built into the degree rather than scheduled as a single capstone placement, students accumulate several rounds of workplace experience with employers in the aerospace and broader engineering sector before graduating. The program suits students who want a professional engineering credential that blends classroom instruction with recurring, supervised industry placements, and who are prepared to study primarily in French. It functions as an entry-level engineering degree rather than a specialized graduate program, positioning graduates for further study or for engineering roles requiring a bachelor's-level credential.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: Admission follows ÉTS's DEC-based system for the Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering. Candidates with a technical DEC in mechanical-engineering technology, composite-materials technology, physical-engineering technology, or aerospace-engineering technique are admitted under Profile A; those with a DEC in aircraft maintenance or avionics techniques are admitted under Profile B. A pre-university DEC is accepted only after completing ÉTS's "cheminement universitaire en technologie" bridging year with a mechanical/aerospace specialization and a minimum cumulative average of 2.30/4.30; a French baccalauréat général without the Québec supplement is accepted on the same bridging-year basis. Other routes include a recognised Canadian college diploma, a French BUT/DUT or an international Bac+2 technical diploma (11.50/20 minimum for international applicants), or, from age 21, at least 30 technical college units plus two years of relevant technical experience. All technical-DEC entrants must pass mandatory diagnostic tests. Teaching is in French; candidates must meet ÉTS's first-cycle language-policy directive, which publishes no minimum test score. The cohort is capped at 40 places, admitted for the Fall session only.
Application Details
Start Date:September
Application Deadline:Domestic (Canadian/Quebec) applicants to ETS must apply by August 1 for the Fall (Automne) trimester, December 1 for Winter (Hiver), and April 1 for Summer (Ete) entry -- fixed annual deadlines that ETS republishes each year without tying them to a specific admission year. International applicants face earlier cutoffs: March 1 for Fall entry (May 15 for doctoral applicants), July 1 for Winter entry (September 15 for doctoral), and December 1 for Summer entry (January 15 for doctoral). ETS does not describe admission as rolling; late international applications for doctoral or thesis-based master's programs may still be considered with a research supervisor's recommendation, subject to immigration processing timelines. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
