Overview
Plumber (306A) Apprenticeship Level 1 is a Skilled Trades Ontario apprenticeship delivered in person at Fleming College's Kawartha Trades and Technology Centre. The in-school component runs across three sessions - Basic (Level 1), Intermediate (Level 2), and Advanced (Level 3) - of 240 hours each, combined with on-the-job work experience with a sponsoring employer. Level 1 instruction covers tools, piping methods, plumbing systems, workplace safety, rigging, hoisting, and welding, in labs equipped with current plumbing tools and equipment. Applicants must already be registered apprentices with Skilled Trades Ontario, with sponsorship from a qualified employer; Skilled Trades Ontario determines eligibility and extends invitations to attend, and applications are not made through ontariocolleges.ca.
