Requirements
Admission Requirements: Georgian requires an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent for direct entry to this Diploma, or mature-student status for applicants without one. The programme's own prerequisites, each needing a minimum grade of 60 per cent, are Grade 12 English (C or U), Grade 12 Mathematics (C or U), Grade 11 or 12 Biology (C or U), and Grade 11 or 12 Chemistry (C or U). Because the program is CCAPP-accredited, Georgian proves English proficiency through the National Association of Pharmacy Regulatory Authorities (NAPRA) Language Proficiency Requirements for Licensure as a Pharmacy Technician in Canada rather than through IELTS, TOEFL, or similar tests; graduation from a Canadian high school with three consecutive first-language English credits, or an undergraduate degree from a Canadian university taught in English, also satisfies it. Before placement, applicants need a current Criminal Reference/Vulnerable Sector Check, current First Aid and CPR (HCP or BLS level) certification, up-to-date flu, TB, and Hepatitis B immunisation, a mask-fit test, and eventual registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
