BA/BTh Children's Ministry

Combines 16 months of Horizon's Pastoral Leadership program with a 2-year Early Childhood Education Diploma from Saskatchewan Polytechnic. Graduates receive both a Bachelor of Arts from Horizon and an ECE Diploma from Saskatchewan Polytechnic, qualifying as Level III Early Childhood Educators. Students who complete Hebrew or Greek language coursework may pursue the Bachelor of Theology designation instead of the BA. The program prepares graduates to lead children's and family ministry within a church context while holding a recognized early-childhood-education credential for work in licensed childcare settings. It is a Plus+ partnership program offered by Horizon College and is not available to international students; applicants must hold Canadian citizenship or permanent residency. As with other Horizon degree programs, students study biblical and theological foundations alongside their professional coursework, integrating Christian formation with practical preparation for ministry among children and families.
