Requirements

Admission Requirements: Direct entry to this Certificate requires an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent, including Grade 12 English (ENG4C or ENG4U, or equivalent) and three further Grade 11 or Grade 12 C, M or U courses; mature-student and college/university-transfer routes are also accepted. Applicants whose first language is not English must meet Humber's English Language Proficiency Policy: IELTS Academic overall 6.0 with no band below 5.5, TOEFL iBT 80 (minimum 20 per skill), PTE Academic 53-57, Duolingo English Test 105+, or CAEL overall 60. Canadian citizens or permanent residents with international education need an ICAS evaluation for secondary schooling or a WES course-by-course evaluation for post-secondary study.

Start Date: September
Application Deadline: Domestic applicants (Canadian citizens, permanent residents, protected persons) apply via ontariocolleges.ca. For Fall 2027 entry, applications open early October 2026, with Humber offers beginning as early as November 2026. Highly competitive programs use an equal-consideration deadline of 1 February 2027: applications received by then are assessed together with no earlier offers; later applications are reviewed first-come, first-served while space remains. Fall 2027 offer acceptance is due 1 May 2027. International applicants apply directly through the Humber Web Application and are reviewed on a rolling basis, up to one year before their intended start term; no fixed international deadline is published, and applying for a study permit 3-5 months before the start date is recommended. No separate Winter/Spring institution-wide dates are published. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
