Overview
Humber's Bachelor of Commerce - Finance is a four-year honours degree combining a business foundation (organizational behaviour, law, economics, accounting, marketing, operations management) with specialization courses in financial analysis, planning and risk management. The project-based curriculum, designed with industry experts, culminates in a senior-level project applying real-world problem solving and decision making. September and January intakes.

Admission Requirements: Direct entry requires an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or accepted equivalent, including Grade 12 English (ENG4U or equivalent) at a minimum of 65 per cent, Grade 12 Mathematics (MDM4U, MCB4U, MGA4U, MCV4U or MHF4U, or equivalent) at a minimum of 60 per cent, and four further Grade 12 U or M courses, with an overall minimum admission grade point average of 65 per cent; mature-student status or college/university transfer status is accepted in place of the secondary-school route. An applicant without Grade 12U Mathematics, or below 60 per cent in it, may still be considered but must complete a math-equivalency course in their first semester at Humber. The English-language requirement here is Humber's institution-wide English Language Proficiency Policy at the Bachelor's Degree band: IELTS Academic overall 6.5 with no band below 6.0, TOEFL iBT 84 with a minimum of 21 in each skill, PTE Academic 58-60, Duolingo English Test 115 or above, or CAEL 60 overall with a Writing score of 60. A Canadian citizen or permanent resident schooled outside Canada must first have their credentials assessed - ICAS course-by-course for a secondary transcript, WES for post-secondary study.

Fall 2027 offer acceptance is due 1 May 2027. International applicants apply directly through the Humber Web Application and are reviewed on a rolling basis, up to one year before their intended start term; no fixed international deadline is published, and applying for a study permit 3-5 months before the start date is recommended.
