Admission Requirements: Direct entry is via an Ontario College human-services diploma or advanced diploma (from a listed set of programs such as Social Service Worker, Community Worker, Child and Youth Care Advanced Diploma, Assaulted Women's and Children's Counsellor/Advocate, and related credentials) with an overall grade point average of 65 per cent or more, plus ENG4U or Humber's WRIT 100/200 level (or equivalent) at a minimum of 65 per cent. An applicant with postsecondary education outside the human-services field who also has relevant work or life experience is considered case-by-case through a supplemental application, arranged with the program's Admissions Officer. The English-language requirement here is Humber's institution-wide English Language Proficiency Policy at the Bachelor's Degree band: IELTS Academic overall 6.5 with no band below 6.0, TOEFL iBT 84 with a minimum of 21 in each skill, PTE Academic 58-60, Duolingo English Test 115 or above, or CAEL 60 overall with a Writing score of 60. A Canadian citizen or permanent resident schooled outside Canada must first have their credentials assessed - ICAS course-by-course for a secondary transcript, WES for post-secondary study.
