Requirements
Admission Requirements: Academic eligibility for this graduate certificate requires either a bachelor's degree, advanced diploma, diploma or equivalent in computer science, computer programming, information technology, or Humber's own Protection, Security and Investigation diploma; or a bachelor's degree, advanced diploma, diploma or equivalent in any field combined with a minimum of three years of related industry experience, in which case a resume documenting that experience must be submitted through the Applicant Portal. Applicants whose first language is not English must meet Humber's institution-wide English Language Proficiency Policy; for this graduate-certificate credential level the policy sets IELTS Academic at an overall 6.5 with no band below 6.0, and TOEFL iBT on Humber's post-January-2026 scale at 4.5 overall with no skill score below 4. Canadian citizens or permanent residents educated internationally must have their credentials assessed course-by-course through ICAS for secondary-school transcripts and through WES for post-secondary study, with a course-by-course WES evaluation recommended wherever transfer credit will be sought. Meeting these minimum eligibility requirements does not guarantee admission.
