Business Administration Diploma - Esports Management

The Business Administration Diploma with a specialization in Esports Management, offered at Keyano College's Clearwater Campus, develops the skills needed to start a career in the esports industry as a league administrator, coach, marketer, media content manager or similar role. Over two years and four terms, students take core business courses alongside esports-specific coursework covering the esports ecosystem, esports health and performance, organizational structure and leadership, marketing and sponsorship, and event and facility management. Two courses involve work-integrated learning placements: Esports Experiential Learning - Practicum, which may place students with clubs, organizations or tournaments, and the Esports Capstone project, which may be completed with an external partner or under internal supervision. Admission requires a high school diploma or equivalent with English 30-1 (minimum 60%) or English 30-2 (minimum 65%), and Math 30-1 or Math 30-2 (minimum 55%); mature applicants aged 21 or older may qualify via the same coursework or the College Entrance Assessment. Admission to the Business Administration program does not guarantee registration in limited-enrollment courses.
