Overview
Ce programme en quatre étapes prépare au service à la clientèle dans les institutions financières par une approche concrète : des mises en situation réelles inspirées du quotidien du secteur permettent de développer des compétences immédiatement applicables sur le terrain. Le diplômé est outillé pour intégrer le milieu financier et bâtir l'expérience menant aux postes de conseiller financier, la certification additionnelle en fonds d'investissement au Canada pouvant ensuite ouvrir des fonctions-conseils. La formation, qui suit les lois de l'Ontario, partage des cours de tronc commun avec le programme d'Administration des affaires et s'offre aussi avec une option coopérative.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: Applicants who fall short only of the mathematics prerequisite may still be admitted by passing La Cité's Compétences pour réussir numeracy test, or the college's preparatory mathematics course. Domestic Ontario applicants need the OSSD or equivalent, or, at 19 or over, a pass on the mature-applicant test, plus Grade 11/12 math (MBF3C, MAP4C, MCR3U or MCF3M). Quebec applicants need the DES with Mathématique CST 63404, TS 064406, SN 065406 or Mathématique 416, or the mature-applicant route; New Brunswick applicants need the provincial DES with course 30321A, on the same basis. International applicants need a secondary diploma/baccalaureate or proof of enrolment in their final secondary year; La Cité states admission is competitive and never guaranteed. No language test score is published; French is the language of instruction.
