The Bachelor of Science major in Chemistry provides theoretical knowledge and applied laboratory skills for careers in industry, academia, or professional programs. Students may work toward the P.Chem. professional chemist designation and must complete either independent research or an industrial internship. The 120-credit degree is delivered on-campus at MacEwan University's City Centre Campus in Edmonton over a typical four-year, full-time course of study, preparing graduates for laboratory, research, and further academic or professional pathways in chemistry, industry, or health sciences, and for graduate study in chemistry-related disciplines.
