The Bachelor of Design major in Digital Experience Design trains students to design digital products such as websites, apps, wearables, augmented and virtual reality experiences, and games, with an emphasis on understanding user interaction. The 120-credit, practice-based program teaches students to identify client problems, recognize user needs, and translate these into wireframes, prototypes, and visual interfaces. It is delivered on-campus at MacEwan University's City Centre Campus in Edmonton over a typical four-year, full-time course of study. Graduates are prepared for roles such as user experience designer, interaction designer, UI designer, web designer, product manager, information architect, service designer, or customer experience designer, in fields spanning technology, marketing, and product development, and for further study in design or a related discipline.
