Direct entry follows Memorial's general admission requirements: domestic applicants need a Canadian high school curriculum with an overall average of at least 70% across the required senior-level (Grade 12) subjects, while international applicants are assessed against Memorial's curriculum- and country-specific tables. Applicants whose first language is not English must present IELTS Academic 6.5 overall (no band below 6.0 in Reading/Writing), TOEFL iBT 4.5 overall with at least 4.0 in Reading and Writing, CAEL 60, PTE Academic 60, Cambridge C1 Advanced/C2 Proficiency 176, Duolingo English Test 115, or Michigan English Test 59. International applicants use the same direct application to Memorial and are only advised to apply at least 12 weeks before their intended semester starts; no fixed international closing date is published. Late domestic applications are still considered as time, resources and space permit, so admission is effectively rolling past the priority date up to the final close. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
