Bachelor of Science - Data Science

The Bachelor of Science - Data Science is a four-year undergraduate degree combining mathematics, statistics and computer science to analyze complex data and build predictive models. The curriculum covers machine learning and statistical techniques alongside programming and database skills, with work-integrated learning delivered through co-op terms that give students paid, degree-related work experience. Coursework blends theoretical foundations in statistics and computing with hands-on data analysis projects, moving from foundational mathematics and programming courses in the early years toward applied modelling and analytics projects later in the degree. This progression prepares graduates for careers as data analysts, data scientists, business intelligence analysts or in related technical roles across industries such as finance, healthcare, technology and government. The degree leads to a Bachelor of Science credential with a major in Data Science.
