Overview
The Bachelor of Business Administration in General Management is a four-year degree giving students a broad view across business sectors while developing critical thinking, strategic planning and leadership skills that apply across industries rather than a single specialty. Students complete 16 core courses covering foundational business knowledge and then choose from three concentrations: Indigenous Business and Economic Development, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, or Social Innovation, each shaping the direction of later coursework. The program includes work-integrated learning through co-op placements and applied projects that build practical management skills, an Honours stream for students wanting a research focus, and study abroad or field school options for a global business perspective. It suits students seeking flexibility in their career path, whether toward entrepreneurship, leadership roles across disciplines, or work in corporate, non-profit, startup or public sector settings after graduation.

Admission Requirements: Direct entry from Alberta high school requires five Grade 12 courses, including English Language Arts 30-1 (minimum 60%) and Mathematics 30-1 or 30-2 (minimum 60%), plus three further courses from Groups A, B or C.
