Overview
The Foundations for Life Certificate - Deacon's Track is a one-year, 31-credit program at Nipawin Bible College for students who want a Bible college experience and vocational experience but would not meet the academic entrance requirements of the regular Foundations for Life program. Deacon's Track students take the same course content as the academic Foundations for Life program but with reduced coursework and adapted syllabi, and are placed into local vocational settings for eight hours a week to develop practical life skills in fields such as carpentry, electrical, plumbing, or food services. Coursework covers the Pentateuch, the Synoptic Gospels, Understanding the Bible, Systematic Theology, Apologetics and Evangelism, Ethics, and Introduction to Church Ministry. Upon completion of all requirements, students receive the Foundations for Life Certificate - Deacon's Track. The program is delivered on the college's campus in Nipawin, Saskatchewan.

Admission Requirements: Applicants must profess Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour and provide evidence of a born-again experience. Candidates must have graduated from high school and be at least 18 years old, and must pass the program's minimum reading, writing, and comprehension requirements.
