Environmental Management Post-Degree Diploma

Admission Requirements: Applicants need a minimum three-year degree in a subject broadly related to environmental science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. On top of the degree, applicants must meet NLC's standard English requirement: a 'C' grade or higher in English 12, English Literature 12, or English First Peoples 12, or ENGL 050/ENGL 099, or an equivalent university-level English course; Math requires a 'C' (60%) or higher in Pre-Calculus 11, Principles of Mathematics 11, Foundations of Math 11, or MATH 040. International applicants and those educated in French or another language must instead meet NLC's general standard in Appendix A; the programme page does not publish its own test scores. Once enrolled, students must maintain a 2.00 program Grade Point Average with a 'D' (50%) minimum per course, and at least half of all coursework must be completed at Northern Lights College, with a 'C' (60%) minimum for courses to be considered for transfer. Standard intakes occur every September, with Fall, Winter, and Spring options at Dawson Creek and Fort St. John.
