NSCC's Motorcycle and Power Products Repair certificate gives students hands-on experience maintaining and repairing motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles, snowmobiles, marine equipment and other outdoor power products. The one-year program teaches diagnosis and repair of engines and related systems using specialized tools and industry-standard procedures, alongside safety practices for small-engine and power-equipment service work, including respirator fit testing. The program requires a minimum 90% attendance in all courses and includes a mandatory field experience placement of approximately five weeks, typically unpaid, with students covering their own transportation and accommodation costs. Some employers may require a criminal record check. Graduates are prepared for technician roles in powersports and small-engine repair shops, and international graduates are eligible to apply for a Post-Graduation Work Permit.
