Overview

The GIS Database Management Micro-credential includes building on skills acquired in the Geographic Information Systems Essentials Micro-credential. You will continue to advance your Geographic Information Systems knowledge and develop the skills required to work with modern database technologies within a Geographic Information Systems environment. This micro-credential is 100 hours, completed in two courses.

Requirements

Admission Requirements: Entry to this micro-credential is by internal progression: the program page's stated admission requirement is successful completion of Okanagan College's GIS Essentials Micro-credential. No English or French language-test score, minimum grade, age condition, portfolio or other entrance requirement is published. Once admitted, learners must complete a minimum of 50 per cent of the 100-hour, two-course micro-credential through Okanagan College and pass each course with at least 60 per cent to receive the credential. The program is delivered online, asynchronously with tutor support and no scheduled live sessions, and its listed total program cost for domestic students is $1,761.02.
