Overview
Bachelor of Mission Aviation is a four-year degree from Prairie College, delivered through the Prairie Aviation Training Centre in Three Hills, Alberta, in partnership with Mission Aviation Fellowship of Canada. The program combines coursework in Bible and theology and the arts and sciences with a substantial block of aviation credits, plus a specialized track in either Management or Intercultural Studies. Flight training is a core structural element: students complete classroom instruction, simulator sessions, and practicum flying across a range of aircraft and conditions, including cross-country flights and mountain flying, supported by a small instructor-to-student ratio. The program is designed for students pursuing a career as a commercial pilot, whether in mission aviation, charter flying, or wider commercial aviation, and it integrates flight training with theological and general-education coursework so that graduates are prepared for piloting roles that may be undertaken in a missions context as well as in secular aviation careers.

Application Details
Start Date:September and January
Application Deadline:Prairie College, formerly Prairie Bible Institute, currently has Winter 2027 (January start) and its Online Education stream open on a rolling basis with no published closing date; the site states Fall 2027 (September start) applications "will open on October 1, 2027," which post-dates that intake's own start and may be an uncorrected publishing error. A separate International Student Application exists but carries no published opening, closing, or document deadline, and no distinct deadline is published for the Bachelor of Education or Practical Nurse Diploma beyond the general cycle. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
