The Digital Media Diploma is a two-year, 60-credit program at Prairie College combining photography and filmmaking training with biblical and theological study. The curriculum includes 15 credits of Bible and Theology, 9 credits of Arts and Sciences, and 36 credits of digital media coursework covering camera operation, filmmaking, motion graphics, and audio production. Instructors are working professionals in the fields they teach. Students build a professional portfolio through dedicated Portfolio courses and complete a capstone practicum: a 14-day placement working with real international or national clients, with past groups traveling to locations including Vietnam, Tibet, Ecuador, and Golden, BC. Graduates leave with a professional portfolio and are prepared for careers in photography and filmmaking, or to continue into a four-year Prairie College degree such as Business Administration.
