BA/BS in International Relations

International Relations is offered within Redeemer University's Politics and International Studies program as a Bachelor of Arts honours major. The program takes an interdisciplinary approach to studying systemic issues in global politics, including law, rights, peace, and diplomacy. Students examine the role of governments and politics in the development of different cultures and societies, building a grounding in the political, economic, and social forces that shape international relations. Coursework draws on history, political science, and international studies to prepare students to analyze global systems and institutions. The program is offered only as an honours major within the broader Politics and International Studies degree rather than as a standalone credential. Graduates gain the analytical and interdisciplinary skills relevant to further study or work in international affairs, policy, and diplomacy.
