BA/BS in Art

The Bachelor of Arts in Art at Redeemer University combines studio practice with the study of art history and theory. The program develops technical skills in drawing, painting, and digital media while examining the relationship between faith and artistic practice. Coursework spans art history, aesthetics, and contemporary practice, and students complete a Senior Exhibition as a culminating project. The program is offered as a major or a minor and makes use of campus studio space and an art gallery. Admission follows Redeemer's general undergraduate entry requirements, with no program-specific admission requirements. Graduates pursue careers as illustrators, designers, curators, and art therapists, or move into art education and related fields.
