This two-year SAIT diploma covers foundational business concepts across entrepreneurship, marketing, operations, project management, and human resources. Coursework includes strategies for promoting products and services, running efficient business operations, planning and overseeing projects of varying sizes, and applying human resources practices in workplace situations, alongside an introduction to international business principles. In the final semester, students may take part in an integrative capstone project with peers from other business majors, working on a real challenge faced by a local business or organization. Graduates can pursue the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification and the Canadian Institute of Management (CIM) designation. The program suits candidates interested in business leadership, operations, and project coordination, with strong communication and problem-solving skills. It qualifies graduates for corporate management trainee programs and roles across human resources, administration, operations, and project management. Graduates who reach a minimum 2.3 cumulative GPA may progress into SAIT's Bachelor of Business Administration degree. Standard full-time completion is two years, with up to seven years allowed to finish all coursework.
