This four-year Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in Management teaches core business and entrepreneurial concepts. Coursework covers project management, financial and accounting principles, business statistics and economics, Canadian business law, information and communication technology applications, marketing, organizational behaviour, human resource management, operations management, and strategic management. In the fourth year, students complete a practicum or capstone project applying business skills to a real-world setting. Optional minors are available in Construction Project Management and Energy, Oil and Gas. Admission Requirements: Applicants must meet one of three requirement options. Option one requires an overall minimum average of 65%, calculated using final grades in English 30-1 (at least 60%), Math 30-1 (at least 60%) or Math 30-2 (at least 70%), two courses from Group A academic subjects, and one further course from Group A or B. Option two requires a SAIT Business Administration diploma or a Bachelor of Applied Business Administration or equivalent from an accredited post-secondary institution, with a minimum 2.3 cumulative GPA (67% or C+). Option three requires a two-year diploma or a bachelor's degree from an accredited post-secondary institution, with a minimum 2.3 cumulative GPA (67% or C+) and completion of English 30-1 and Math 30-1 or Math 30-2 or equivalents. SAIT accepts recognised high school course equivalents for applicants educated outside Alberta, and applicants educated outside Canada must provide an international document assessment showing they meet the same standard. All applicants, including those educated in Canada, must demonstrate English language proficiency before admission (SAIT admissions, English Proficiency). SAIT's institution-wide scale accepts IELTS Academic at 6.0 in each skill, TOEFL iBT at a total score of 4.5 with a 4.5 minimum per section, PTE Academic at 53, the Duolingo English Test at 115 overall with 95 minimum per sub-score, and CAEL at 60 overall with 60 in each skill, among other accepted tests.
